Job summary

Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield is seeking a senior leader to direct Enterprise Connectivity, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable services across the technology landscape. You will drive strategy, lifecycle management, and modernization initiatives in collaboration with infrastructure, security, and vendor teams.

The role requires strong cloud, networking, and leadership experience, with a focus on agile practices and cost-aware delivery within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
• Formal or informal leadership experience in agile/SAFe environments.
• Hands-on with AWS, Azure, or GCP services and architecture.
• Experience with Terraform/CloudFormation and Kubernetes.
• Ability to build product roadmaps and align with enterprise strategy.
• Strong collaboration across technology divisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, operation, and lifecycle management of enterprise connectivity platforms.
• Oversee network infrastructure, SD-WAN, VXLAN, cloud connectivity, and security.
• Drive modernization initiatives, governance, and cost optimization.
• Partner with architects, security leaders, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Foster an inclusive culture and ensure agile execution across teams.
