Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 8–15 years of relevant experience designing, implementing, and operating complex infrastructure or cloud environments in an enterprise or federal IT setting.
• Significant hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud), including production deployments of compute, storage, networking, and managed services.
• Demonstrated expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Extensive experience leading incident, problem, and change management activities for high-visibility or mission-critical services.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust investigation; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Translate solution requirements into scalable cloud architectures, landing zone designs, and platform standards.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines for repeatable provisioning and configuration.
• Design and operate monitoring, logging, and alerting to improve reliability and MTTR.
• Apply cloud security best practices, including IAM, network segmentation, encryption, and key management.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex cloud incidents across teams.
• Develop and maintain standards, diagrams, and recovery procedures for cloud platforms.
• Mentor cloud engineers on automation, scripting, and reliability engineering.
