Job summary

BNY Mellon seeks a Specialist to join its Alternatives coverage team in New York, NY. You will work with the firm's largest client relationships and coverage teams to advance commercial efforts and develop insights supporting decision-making for senior leaders.

You will stay informed on client news, perform industry research, and maintain CRM data quality while creating reports that highlight metrics for the Alternatives portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 2-5 years of total work experience preferred.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills with the ability to produce professional output in different formats; writing ability and eye for detail are essential.
• Ability to grow within the role - develop leadership and influencing skills and be a collaborative partner across teams.
• Able to establish relationships with diverse individuals and working styles in a global company. Strong written and verbal communication with internal partners.

Responsibilities

• Work with the firm's largest client relationships and coverage teams to advance commercial efforts.
• Conduct analyses and develop insights to support decision-making and communicate progress to senior leadership.
• Stay current on client news, conduct research and analyze industry trends.
• Maintain the team's CRM system for data quality; track wins, pipeline and opportunities.
• Create reports for senior coverage bankers and BNY management highlighting portfolio metrics for the Alternatives segment.
• Cultivate and leverage a strong network across the BNY enterprise.
