As part of the Sales & Marketing team, you’ll help us understand client needs and tailor solutions to deliver performance. This is a fully remote position within the U.S., requiring availability during designated work hours five days a week.

Position Overview

The Enterprise HCM Client Account Executive engages current clients at the executive level to align Paylocity’s solutions with company objectives, aiming to close new and expanded sales agreements. Success in this role involves a consultative sales approach, prospecting, research skills, persistence, and a passion for our solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Generate new business opportunities leveraging industry knowledge.
  2. Present Paylocity products to clients with 500+ employees.
  3. Prepare proposals and follow up through the sales process.
  4. Coordinate with internal teams for client onboarding and additional functionalities.
  5. Build executive relationships through various outreach methods.
  6. Maintain regular contact with clients to identify needs for additional services.
  7. Collaborate with service partners to enhance client experience.
  8. Participate in trade shows and industry events.
  9. Achieve or exceed sales quotas.
Qualifications
  • HS diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of sales experience.
  • Strong prospecting, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to succeed in a competitive environment and handle objections.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and internet applications.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent travel, including driving, flying, or other transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and engage actively with clients.
  • Effective communication in person, on the phone, and via email.
Work Environment

This is a fully remote role within the U.S., with potential for schedule adjustments based on business needs and performance.

Compensation: $77,600 - $144,200 annually, plus variable commissions, bonuses, stock options, and benefits.
