Job description

CircleCI is searching for a seasoned and strategic Enterprise Renewals Manager to become part of our team! This pivotal role involves overseeing enterprise-level customer renewals, engaging with senior C-level stakeholders, managing intricate contract negotiations, and developing tailored renewal strategies.

Job Summary:

The Enterprise Renewals Manager will hold the responsibility of guiding the renewal process for high-value portfolios, spearheading retention initiatives, and nurturing customer connections to optimize contract renewals. This position plays a crucial role in advancing customer retention, fostering revenue expansion, and upholding exceptional levels of customer satisfaction at CircleCI.

What You'll Do:

  1. Manage enterprise-level renewal pipeline, mitigate risks, and work collaboratively with Account Managers to smoothly transition upsell opportunities.
  2. Engage with senior C-level stakeholders, oversee complex contract negotiations, and craft customized renewal strategies.
  3. Analyze customer data, pinpoint renewal risks, and take proactive steps to engage customers, resolve issues, enhance value realization, and secure successful renewals.
  4. Monitor renewal performance metrics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and offer valuable insights to senior management.
  5. Collaborate effectively with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal teams to propel contract renewals and achieve revenue objectives.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA a plus.
  2. 6+ years of proven experience in customer renewals management, customer success, or account management within the tech industry.
  3. Proficiency in CRM tools like HubSpot and Vitally.
  4. Ability to effectively influence and communicate with C-level executives.
  5. Advanced communication, negotiation, strong objection handling, and relationship-building skills to engage with customers, address concerns, and drive successful renewals.
  6. Analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis, and experience in leveraging customer data to inform renewal strategies and optimize customer retention efforts.
