Job summary

Trystar Inc. in Faribault, MN, with operations across Houston, TX and other sites, seeks a Senior Change Management Specialist to own enterprise ECR/ECO/ECN processes and champion governance across PLM, ERP, and document control systems.

You will lead continuous improvement, develop KPI metrics, and ensure first-time-right implementation of changes while minimizing risk and disruption. This role reports to the Senior Sustaining Engineering Manager and requires collaboration with multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Engineering Change Management, Configuration Management, PLM, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, or related discipline.
• Experience with PLM tools such as Empower Arena, PTC Windchill, Siemens Teamcenter, or Oracle Agile PLM.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Power BI, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive actions to completion.
• Subject matter expert for ECR/ECO processes, delivering training and guidance to ensure adoption and compliance across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer the enterprise ECR/ECO/ECN process for all locations.
• Serve as the SME for ECR, ECO, ECN, and change management activities.
• Receive, review, validate, and route engineering change requests for completeness and compliance.
• Monitor change workflows, drive actions to closure, and escalate risks as needed.
• Develop and track KPIs such as cycle times, backlog, and schedule adherence.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce bottlenecks and improve efficiency.
• Own the ECR/ECO process roadmap for scalable, data-driven growth.
• Leverage PLM capabilities and automation to improve traceability and performance.
• Conduct process audits and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver training and coaching to stakeholders to ensure adoption of processes.
• Facilitate stand-up meetings and cross-functional reviews to improve communication.
• Partner with engineering leaders to align changes with priorities and manufacturing readiness.
• Promote process discipline and accountability across the organization.
