Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC seeks an Engineering Change Specialist to manage and improve ECN workflows across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain. You will validate requests, coordinate cross-functional reviews, and ensure changes are implemented with accurate documentation.

The role requires strong knowledge of BOMs, drawings, ERP/PLM systems, and a solid mechanical aptitude. Collaboration with suppliers and multiple departments is essential for successful change control.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in engineering change management or related technical field.
• Strong knowledge of drawings, BOMs, processes, and change control procedures.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and PLM systems required.
• Mechanical aptitude with metric system proficiency.
• Bachelor's or higher in engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve the engineering change management process and workflows.
• Validate, prioritize, and process engineering change requests with complete documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional reviews with multiple departments and suppliers.
• Assess impacts of changes on production, inventory, and scheduling.
• Develop implementation plans for timing, inventory disposition, and supplier coordination.
• Maintain configuration accuracy of BOMs, drawings, and ERP/PLM records.
• Provide training on engineering change processes and changes.
