Job summary

GlobalPoint is seeking an IT Enterprise Busi Analyst to support EHR and practice management systems in a healthcare setting. You will collaborate with clinical and technical staff, ensuring secure and efficient system operation while documenting business requirements for the EHR system.

You will also provide ongoing support, perform updates and troubleshooting, and coordinate with vendor teams to resolve issues and improve platform performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 years in a supervisory role, or an Associate's degree with 3 years of related experience.
• Experience in IT Enterprise Business Analysis within healthcare or hospital IT settings is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to integrate HL7 standards and support.
• Manage and maintain EHR and practice management systems securely.
• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders for the EHR system.
• Provide ongoing EHR support: updates, troubleshooting, and data security per HIPAA.
• Resolve technical issues with developers/administrators and improve platform performance.
• Perform system updates, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity.
• Offer end-user technical support and coordinate with vendor support teams.
• Assist trainers with clinic staff training for efficient EHR use.
• Analyze workflows to identify optimization opportunities within the EHR system.
• Generate and analyze reports to support clinical/administrative decisions.
• Provide Windows troubleshooting and support for software and cloud platforms.
• Communicate effectively with internal/external customers for timely solutions.
• Create clear JIRA tickets for developers/administrators.
• Ensure IT security practices and policies are followed.
• Stay updated on industry trends to deliver innovative solutions.

• Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration and support of HL7 standards.
• Manage and maintain EHR and practice management systems, ensuring they are functioning optimally and securely.

Collaborate with stakeholders, including clinical staff, technical staff, program staff, administrators, and developers, to gather and document business requirements for the EHR system.

Provide ongoing support for the EHR system, including managing updates, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring data accuracy and security compliant with HIPAA standards.

• Collaborate with developers and administrators to resolve technical issues and enhance platform performance.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity and system reliability.
• Provide technical support to end-users, by interfacing with vendor Support Teams to address issues related to software promptly.
• Assist trainers with training programs for clinic staff to ensure efficient use of the EHR system.
• Analyze clinical workflows and processes to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement within the EHR system.
• Generate and analyze reports to support clinical and administrative decision-making.
• Provide advanced Windows troubleshooting and support for our software and cloud platform.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to understand their issues and provide timely solutions.
• Compose clear and detailed JIRA tickets for developers and administrators.
• Ensure the security of IT systems and data, adhering to best practices and company policies.
• Utilize available tools like REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger for testing and documentation purposes.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions.

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience supporting EHR and Practice Management systems in a medical clinic or similar healthcare setting.
• Proven experience in system implementation, configuration, and support.

Education

• Bachelor s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field OR Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Hospital IT or equally complex systems

• Proficiency with ticketing systems like JIRA and Ivanti for issue tracking and ticket management.
