Job summary

FORTÉ is seeking an Audio-Visual Support Technician to support a major Enterprise customer in the United States. You will provide basic AV setup, troubleshooting, and event support to ensure smooth meetings and seamless collaboration.

You will train end users on system functionality, assist with projects or upgrades, and perform routine maintenance and inventory management to keep equipment ready for use.

Qualifications

• Experience with AV control systems such as Crestron, Extron, or AMX.
• Familiarity with Zoom, Teams, or Webex.
• Basic to advanced AV knowledge and signal flow understanding.
• Strong communication and customer service mindset.
• Ability to troubleshoot connectivity and audio issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test, and operate AV equipment for events and meetings.
• Provide first-level technical support for end-user issues.
• Collaborate with event coordinators to prepare AV setups.
• Perform routine maintenance on AV gear.
• Manage cables and organize AV hardware.
• Document setups and troubleshooting steps.
• Deliver excellent customer service and prompt issue resolution.
• Assist in inventory of AV equipment and accessories.
