Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an AV Specialist to architect, implement, and optimize enterprise AV conferencing across global teams in a hybrid work environment. You will define end-to-end conferencing architectures, ensure seamless interoperability with collaboration platforms, and drive ongoing improvements in service quality while aligning with compliance and payments-related data protection needs.

Qualifications

• Expertise in enterprise AV conferencing technologies including room systems and cloud collaboration platforms.
• Knowledge of network fundamentals and QoS to optimize media flows in hybrid environments.
• Experience with cards and payments processes to align collaboration solutions with workflows and regulatory needs.
• Ability to document architectures and create design standards for maintainability across teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and propose remediation.
• Experience working in hybrid work models and day shifts across regions without travel.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and resilient AV conferencing architectures supporting hybrid work while ensuring high availability and usability for global teams.
• Define detailed designs for conferencing platforms including rooms endpoints and backend services for seamless interoperability.
• Evaluate and select AV technologies based on performance, security and total cost of ownership to support enterprise needs.
• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to align conferencing architecture with enterprise standards.
• Provide guidance for deployment and configuration of AV solutions across locations with standardized setups.
• Analyze call quality metrics, usage patterns and incident data to identify systemic issues and drive improvements.
• Develop architecture diagrams and documentation to support operations and evolution of conferencing solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors and procurement to validate capabilities and align with enterprise roadmaps.
• Implement monitoring, alerting and capacity management for conferencing services to ensure reliable user experience.
• Integrate platforms with identity systems and collaboration tools to streamline access and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with information security policies for data protection in conferencing across cards and payments domains.
• Conduct impact assessments for changes to avoid disruptions to critical operations.
• Mentor teams on best practices for troubleshooting and optimization of AV configurations.
