Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking an Automation Engineer to implement, maintain, and support distributed intake channels, web services and an enterprise orchestration platform. You will consult with Enterprise teams to translate complex cross-technology concepts into reusable automations and web applications using Micro Focus Operations Orchestration, PHP, .NET, and web services.

Responsibilities include partnering with technology teams, building highly available automation, and driving

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Front-end technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
Object-oriented PHP programming
Experience in development and testing of web applications
Proficiency in multiple programming/scripting languages and web APIs
Experience working with Windows environments
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server)
Ability to analyze data and present technical information clearly

Responsibilities

Partner with technology teams to reengineer processes during onboarding or migration to web apps
Design and implement highly available automation using orchestration platforms
Advance the orchestration platform through evaluation and adoption of new tech
Automate repeatable admin tasks to increase reliability and reusability
Promote web apps and orchestration platform adoption across teams
Create thorough technical documentation including diagrams
