Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Jersey City, NJ seeks a Senior Technology Lead to drive applications systems analysis and programming activities. You will manage multiple Applications Development teams, provide technical oversight, and shape development strategies across business areas.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems design role.
• Extensive experience in system analysis, design and programming of software applications.
• Practical knowledge in using AI tools for design and development (Copilot, Claude, Devin).
• Experience with architecture, flowcharts, activity and sequence diagrams.
• 8+ years of expertise in application design and development using Java, Spring, and related stacks.
• Knowledge of Agile management using JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more Applications Development teams and perform personnel duties.
• Provide technical oversight across systems and applications.
• Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects.
• Contribute to strategies for applications development and other areas.
• Develop knowledge of how business areas integrate to achieve goals.
• Provide evaluative judgments based on data analysis in complex situations.
• Monitor delivery, participate in budget management, and allocate resources.
• Ensure procedures are followed and define standards with external parties when needed.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, rules and Citigroup policies.
