Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Kansas City, MO seeks an IT Applications Operations professional responsible for tier 2 support of enterprise applications, monitoring performance, deployments, and documentation. This in-office role participates in 24/7 on-call rotation and serves as escalation point for Service Desk.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in CS or related field with several years of experience; in lieu, 6 years.

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree in Computer Science or related field with 4 years’ relevant experience.
In lieu of education, 6 years of relevant enterprise-app experience.
Strong understanding of enterprise level applications and operations.

Responsibilities

Provides tier 2 support and maintenance of enterprise applications to meet daily operational needs.
May act as escalation point if needed.
Configures and upgrades applications to meet daily operational needs.
Implements and maintains customizations of applications including reports, dashboards, and workflows.
Implements and maintains third-party software connections to support business needs.
Assists with debugging system integration and functionality issues including vendor support for defect resolution.
Documents and implements policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity and change protocols.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of application functionality and integration.
Performs other duties as assigned.
