Job summary

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) is seeking an Application Analyst to provide system analysis, configuration, maintenance, and day-to-day support of enterprise applications to ensure reliability, security, and high-quality service delivery across the MBTA.

You will act as a SME for functional and technical components, troubleshoot incidents, coordinate with vendors, support upgrades, and help integrate platforms such as Power Platform, Comply365, HR, LMS, and DMS, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of system analysis experience.
• Experience designing, configuring, and supporting enterprise applications.
• Ability to map business processes and document requirements.
• Familiarity with IT service management and ticketing systems.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day application support for assigned platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues including user access and performance.
• Serve as SME for functional and technical aspects.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve complex issues.
• Support upgrades, patches, testing, and release validation.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge base.
• Monitor health and security and ensure data integrity.
• Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours work.
