Job summary

Blue Cross Blue Shield Association in Chicago seeks a senior leader to own the enterprise AI portfolio, governance, and value realization across the organization. You will guide AI strategy, model lifecycle oversight, and responsible AI practices, aligning investments with strategic priorities and regulatory expectations while maximizing ROI.

You will partner across business and technology teams to establish governance, cost management with FinOps, and measurable AI outcomes.

Qualifications

• Required BS or equivalent experience, MS preferred.
• 10+ years in enterprise technology strategy and governance.
• 5+ years leading AI, analytics, or ML initiatives.
• Experience managing enterprise technology portfolios.
• Experience presenting to executive leadership.
• Healthcare or payer industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise AI portfolio strategy and prioritization.
• Oversee AI model lifecycle and governance processes.
• Collaborate with FinOps on AI cost transparency and ROI.
• Advise on AI technology selection and architecture guidance.
