Job summary

Capital Group is seeking an Enterprise AI Strategy Principal to shape how we apply AI to create lasting business value. You will partner with lines of business, translate AI opportunities into strategic roadmaps, and build compelling business cases for leadership review.

In this high-visibility role, you’ll collaborate across product, data, engineering and risk teams to move from experimentation to measurable results, shaping governance and strategic decisions across the firm.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or internal strategy with progression and advising senior leaders.
• AI knowledge: understand business implications of generative/agentic AI; build AI fluency.
• Skills: comfortable with ambiguity, build scenarios and financial models, influence senior leaders without direct authority.
• Mindset: curious, open-minded and collaborative, willing to challenge current plans.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a forward-deployed AI strategist; assess AI maturity and develop tailored strategies.
• Build AI strategies with line of business leaders; size upside and develop roadmaps.
• Track market and competitors; surface signals for competitive strategy.
• Shape firm’s point of view on AI implications; run scenario work for 3–5 years.
• Connect strategy to execution; translate priorities into actionable tasks with teams.
• Build responsible AI into the strategy with governance, data readiness and trust.
• Communicate clearly for leadership; produce concise executive communications.
