Job summary

Capital Group is seeking a Principal Data Product Manager to lead data components for its Enterprise Data Office. You will work across data domains, platforms, and industry-leading providers to translate investment outcomes into scalable data solutions that support research, portfolio construction, risk management, analytics, and decision-making.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and data leaders to source, profile, validate, and operationalize data, while championing AI-enabled

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, data analytics, or related technical field.
At least 10 years of experience in investment data, investment technology, product management, analytics, consulting, or related disciplines.
Strong understanding of investment processes supporting portfolio management, research, quantitative investing, risk management, performance measurement, attribution, and analytics.

Responsibilities

Lead the data components of Capital Group’s most strategic and complex Investment Group initiatives.
Translate business outcomes into scalable data solutions across multiple data domains, platforms, and providers.
Collaborate with capability leaders, product managers, architects, engineers, data leaders, and external providers to deliver data-driven outcomes.
Define, shape, and validate data capabilities that support investment decisions and AI-powered capabilities.
