Anthropic is seeking a Technical Product Engineer to guide Digital Native Businesses in adopting Claude APIs. You will work with customer product and engineering teams to design architectures, build evaluation suites, and lead pilots from discovery to deployment.

The role blends deep engineering with customer-facing work, requiring 4+ years in technical roles and strong programming in Python or TypeScript. A 3-day in-office schedule is expected with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in technical roles with customer interaction or product focus.
• Production experience with LLMs including prompt engineering and deployment at scale.
• Strong programming skills in Python or TypeScript.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent communication to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a specialist technical advisor to Anthropic customers deploying new products and workflows with our models.
• Partner with account executives and solutions architects to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Influence architecture decisions and customer product strategy via pilots and evaluation suites.
• Lead hands-on technical workshops and code reviews with customer teams.
• Create scalable assets documenting prompting, evaluation, and architecture techniques.
• Stay current on LLM capabilities and AI product development stacks.
• Occasional travel to customer sites for workshops and implementation support.
• Attend conferences and contribute technical content publicly.
