Job summary

Glean is hiring a Solutions Engineer in Mountain View. You will partner with sales to design, demo, and prove the value of our Work AI platform for customers. You’ll lead technical discovery, architect integrations, and navigate security to accelerate decisions.

You will work with Account Executives on enterprise deals, demo custom environments, run POC cycles, and communicate complex tech in business terms. This role blends technical depth with strategic business impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales engineering or solution consulting in SaaS.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated, driven and self-starting.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Proven track record partnering with Account Executives on enterprise deals.
• Consultative approach to solving customer challenges with security objections.
• Familiar with cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Proficient in Python or Java.
• Able to configure and monitor API-based integrations.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to navigate complex enterprise deals.
• Create and demo custom environments aligned to customer industry.
• Run and manage a technical POC cycle.
• Lead customer-facing discovery calls and technical discussions.
• Lead security conversations to reassure customers about posture.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to deliver customer requests.
• Develop ROI analyses and business justification presentations.
