Job summary

The role blends deep engineering with client-facing work, traveling occasionally to customer sites, and contributing to pilots, prototypes, and evaluation suites while upholding safety and reliability

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in technical roles such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Software Engineer or Technical Product Manager.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript and experience building production applications.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and execute across domains with intellectual openness.
• Exceptional communication skills to convey technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a specialist technical advisor to Anthropic customers deploying products and workflows with our models, coordinating across teams.
• Partner with account executives and solutions architects to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Influence technical architecture decisions and customer product strategy with pilots, prototypes, and evaluation suites.
• Lead hands-on technical workshops and code reviews with customer engineering teams.
• Identify common design patterns and contribute insights to Product and Engineering teams.
• Create scalable public and internal assets documenting prompting, evals, and architecture techniques.
• Maintain knowledge of latest LLM developments and AI product stacks.
• Travel occasionally to customer sites for workshops and support.
• Attend conferences, give talks, and publish on AI topics.
