Job summary

Fermat Commerce is seeking an experienced senior engagement lead to partner with top brands and retailers, guiding AI-powered commerce solutions from discovery through production. You will run in-depth discovery to uncover real problems and translate them into PoCs using our Fermat platform and Claude Code.

You will coordinate across sales, account management, and engineering to guarantee delivery and measurable client value.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in management consulting (MBB, Big 4, boutique) or investment banking at Senior BA, Engagement Manager, or equivalent level.
• Experience working with sales, product, and engineering stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort with AI tools and willingness to learn new platforms and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise brands and retailers to discover, design, and deliver AI-powered commerce solutions—from problem to production.
• Run deep discovery sessions to uncover real problems and translate them into proofs of concepts using the Fermat platform and Claude Code.
• Coordinate delivery across sales, account management, and engineering to ensure what gets built ships and delivers client value.
• Work with founders and the FDE team to push the frontier of AI in commerce for leading brands.
• Build and refine the playbook for enterprise AI deployment as the team scales.
