Job summary

UL Research Institutes and UL Standards & Engagement seek a Sr. Manager, AI Portfolio to lead governance, portfolio strategy, and adoption efforts across ULRI and ULSE in Evanston, IL.

You’ll drive AI lifecycles, align initiatives with risk and governance requirements, and partner with Legal, Security, and Finance to ensure responsible AI programs. You will establish operating frameworks, manage investments, and champion enterprise AI enablement while guiding teams through complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience leading AI governance, portfolio management, and adoption strategies.
• Ability to partner with senior leaders, risk, and legal teams to operationalize Responsible AI.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI governance and portfolio management across ULRI and ULSE.
• Direct AI solution delivery from concept through adoption and optimization.
• Develop decision frameworks for build, buy, partner, or hybrid AI delivery.
• Define KPIs to measure portfolio health, AI adoption, and value realization.
