Job summary

UL Research Institutes and UL Standards & Engagement is seeking a Sr. Manager, AI Portfolio in Evanston, IL to lead governance, portfolio management, and adoption strategies for enterprise AI across ULRI and ULSE.

You will guide investment decisions, lifecycle management, and responsible AI practices with stakeholders across the organization. You will collaborate with Legal, Information Security, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and HR to operationalize governance, privacy, and risk controls while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience leading AI governance, portfolio management, and adoption initiatives across complex organizations.

Responsibilities

• Establish enterprise AI governance, portfolio management, and operating frameworks across ULRI and ULSE.
• Oversee AI intake, evaluation, prioritization, and lifecycle management to align with strategy and risk.
• Lead AI opportunities that deliver measurable operational, research, and organizational value.
• Manage AI portfolio roadmap, provide visibility into priorities, risks, and value realization.
• Direct delivery of AI solutions from concept to adoption and continuous improvement.
