Job summary

OJ Digital is seeking a technical Sales Engineer in San Francisco to own the technical side of enterprise deals. You will partner with Account Executives, lead discovery to implementation, and build PoCs using APIs to demonstrate platform value.

You will translate complex technical concepts for both engineers and executives, act as the trusted advisor, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape future features.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering or similar pre-sales role.
• Experience with developer tools, APIs, developer infrastructure or highly technical SaaS products.
• Comfort reading code, using APIs, and building PoCs independently.
• Experience working with technical buyers including software engineers, data teams or AI/ML teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
• Authorized to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical side of the enterprise sales process from discovery through implementation planning.
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations to technical stakeholders.
• Build proofs of concept and technical solutions using APIs.
• Translate complex technical concepts into business value for technical and executive audiences.
• Act as the trusted technical advisor throughout customer engagements.
• Partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams.
• Answer technical questions and guide customers through architecture discussions.
• Feed customer insights back into Product and Engineering for future development.
