Invesco seeks a Principal AI Platform Infrastructure Architect to own the enterprise architecture strategy for the firm’s agentic infrastructure domain. This role sets direction for architects while remaining hands-on in prototyping and validating patterns before enterprise adoption.

You will lead architecture standards for security and cost management, drive multi-domain initiatives, and mentor engineers across platforms to accelerate delivery and reduce duplication.

Qualificações

• Experience owning architecture decisions for complex infrastructure initiatives spanning multiple domains and teams.
• Hands-on experience designing or validating infrastructure for agentic AI platforms.
• Broad infra architecture experience in cloud, security, networking or platform engineering.
• Experience building prototypes and translating findings into reference architectures and production criteria.
• Ability to apply CI/CD, infrastructure as code, configuration management and observability to infra architecture.
• Ability to explain decisions to engineers and executives, and mentor practitioners.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap and publish reference architectures for agent orchestration, identity, gateway and policy services, and model hosting.
• Lead agentic infra decisions across programs and platforms, guiding senior leaders and resolving escalations.
• Establish architecture standards for security, resilience, observability, performance and cost management of agentic infra.
• Lead multi-domain initiatives, document decisions, dependencies, tradeoffs and business impact.
• Build prototypes and reference implementations to validate patterns and outline production criteria.
• Define operational readiness and lifecycle requirements for shared patterns, including ownership, resilience and deprecation.
• Guide teams in adopting shared patterns to reduce duplication and accelerate delivery.
• Mentor architects through reviews, guidance and reusable examples.
• Evaluate emerging AI infra technologies and publish risk, cost and maintainability recommendations.
