Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics LLC in Houston is seeking an experienced AI platform engineer to configure, extend, and secure enterprise AI solutions. You will manage integrations, IAM, licensing, and cost controls while automating deployments through code, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.

You will evaluate new capabilities, build MCP servers and connectors, and advise users on responsible AI usage and security considerations within an enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on with modern AI platforms (Claude, Copilot, Gemini, ChatGPT).
• Experience developing API integrations, automation scripts, or lightweight services.
• Working knowledge of IaC, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Terraform or equivalents.
• Understanding REST APIs, authentication, authorization, and enterprise security.
• Familiarity with LLM capabilities, agentic tool use, risks and controls.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and extend enterprise AI platforms and integrations.
• Manage platform integrations, IAM, licensing, and cost controls.
• Automate platform configuration and deployment via code, APIs, and CI/CD.
• Evaluate and operationalize new platform capabilities with risk balance.
• Develop MCP servers, API wrappers, connectors, and lightweight integrations.
• Advise on responsible use and security of platform features and tools.
• Employ testing, source control, deployment automation, and monitoring.
