Job summary

Global Technical Talent is seeking an AI/ML Engineer for a 12‑month contract in Fort Mill, SC. The role focuses on developing and deploying AI-powered capabilities across enterprise applications, spanning experimentation to production deployment.

You will work on AI/LLM workflows, RAG pipelines, and scalable APIs, utilizing Python and potentially React for front-end tasks, within an on-site setting with onsite flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering enterprise software with AI/ML applications.
• Strong ML concepts, model development, evaluation and deployment.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and RAG-based applications.
• Strong Python development experience, including APIs.
• Experience building production-grade APIs and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and deploying AI workloads in production.
• Knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, model monitoring and observability.
• Experience with SQL and large-scale data processing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate business needs into AI solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered features for enterprise applications.
• Build and optimize AI/LLM workflows and agentic processes.
• Develop RAG pipelines and improve accuracy and reliability of AI responses.
• Create evaluation benchmarks and automated testing for model quality.
• Deploy ML models and LLM solutions in production environments.
• Build back-end services with Python and contribute to React front-ends as needed.
• Develop scalable APIs and services integrating AI capabilities.
• Optimize AI systems for performance, latency, and costs.
• Apply responsible AI principles with explainability and governance.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Evaluate emerging AI tech and propose value-driving improvements.
