SDL Tech Search is seeking an early-career software engineer to help build AI-powered business solutions at enterprise scale. You’ll work with business leaders, engineers, data professionals, and product teams to identify where AI creates measurable value and deliver production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of software engineering, data, automation, analytics, or applied AI experience.
• Degree from a highly regarded university with a strong academic record.
• Proficiency with Python and modern software development practices.
• Experience with APIs, automation frameworks, or data-driven applications.
• Exposure to large language models, prompt engineering, AI agents, RAG architectures, vector databases, or related technologies.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A builder’s mentality with a desire to learn, experiment, and create impact.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities where AI can improve business outcomes and operational effectiveness.
• Design, prototype, and deploy AI-enabled applications and workflow solutions.
• Build integrations, APIs, automation tools, and supporting technical infrastructure.
• Explore emerging technologies including LLMs, AI agents, retrieval systems, and modern automation platforms.
• Partner closely with business stakeholders to translate ideas into production-ready solutions.
• Evaluate new AI products, platforms, and vendors through pilots and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Help drive adoption of AI tools by educating users and sharing best practices.
• Continuously explore new technologies and identify opportunities for innovation.
