Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing is seeking an AI Operations Analyst in Austin, TX. This high-visibility role will own the intake of AI project ideas, manage tool access, licenses, onboarding, and governance compliance across the enterprise.

You’ll lead POC support, platform administration, and AI literacy initiatives, enabling scalable AI adoption while coordinating with IT, security, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in IT operations, help desk/technical support, business analysis, or a related coordination role.
• Hands-on AI tool experience using generative AI tools to automate workflows, improve productivity, or solve business problems.
• Strong organization and follow-through, able to manage multiple requests or tickets simultaneously and keep stakeholders informed.

Responsibilities

• AI Project Intake: Front door for new AI project ideas across IEM and route qualified requests.
• User Onboarding & Offboarding: Provision new users, guide setup, deprovision access, and manage licenses.
• Tool Request Intake & Triage: Manage intake queue for AI tool access requests and approvals.
• License Administration: Track licenses and utilization and optimize allocations.
• POC Support: Assist in building proof-of-concept solutions and coordinate feedback sessions.
• Platform Administration: Support day-to-day AI platform administration and security controls.
• AI Literacy & Training: Plan and deliver AI literacy programs and trainings across IEM.
• Usage Monitoring & Reporting: Track adoption metrics and generate reports for planning.
• Compliance Checks: Audit AI tool usage against governance policies.
