Job summary

Jobtailor in Redwood City, CA is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to own end-to-end onboarding, deployment, and production rollout for strategic enterprise accounts. You will serve as the primary technical point of contact and build strong customer relationships across complex on-premises and hybrid environments.

Design scalable workflows across AWS, GCP, Azure, and on-prem Kubernetes, translate ambiguous requirements into concrete architectures, and guide customers from contract signing

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in a post-sales deployment role owning customer deployments.
• Hands-on ML and model training across pre/mid/post stages.
• Experience deploying software into enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong Python proficiency required.
• AWS proficiency required.
• Willingness to travel roughly 15%.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end onboarding, deployment, and production rollout for strategic enterprise accounts.
• Serve as primary technical POC for assigned accounts.
• Build long-term customer relationships and drive adoption across on-premises and hybrid environments.
• Design scalable workflows across AWS, GCP, Azure, and on-premises Kubernetes.
• Translate ambiguous customer requirements into concrete architecture.
• Build post-sales deployment processes from 0 to 1.
• Partner with Sales, Engineering, and Research.
• Relay field learnings to shape the product roadmap.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to support critical deployments.
• Guide customers from signed contract through production stabilization and ongoing adoption.
