Job summary

Salesforce is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to design, build, and deploy agentic AI solutions inside enterprise environments. You'll work with a Deployment Strategist to co-build solutions that go live in production from day one.

You will ship real AI-powered features, own components end-to-end, build data pipelines with Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, and Databricks, and collaborate with customers to drive measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, with at least one production system you'd be proud to walk us through.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Prior customer-facing technical delivery experience
• Fluent in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex
• Hands-on with LLMs and prompt engineering
• Strong data modeling, APIs, and integration patterns

Responsibilities

• Develop AI agents and experiences that take real actions for real organizations in production.
• Design agent intelligence: prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integration with customer systems.
• Own technical components end-to-end from architecture to production.
• Build and maintain data pipelines on Salesforce Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms.
• Maintain agent performance dashboards and KPI reporting to track deployment health and outcomes.
• Contribute to proofs-of-concept and MVPs moving from sketch to deployable quickly.
• Co-build with customers and partners, sharing best practices.
• Surface platform gaps and field insights to engineering and product teams.
• Collaborate with Deployment Strategist to translate business challenges into shipments.
