Job summary

Appian Corporation in McLean, VA seeks a Technical Delivery Manager to lead agile delivery, grow strategic accounts, and build executive relationships. You’ll partner with architects, product designers, and client executives to implement the AI-Powered Process Automation platform.

Based at our HQ, you’ll manage complex programs, oversee timelines, and drive profitability while traveling up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field.
• Agile Leadership: 5+ years in an Agile delivery environment, with at least 1 year leading technology implementation teams.
• Financial Account Management: Portfolio/book of business experience with forecasting and budgets.
• Value-Based Selling: Expertise using value selling methods to build business cases.
• Travel: Willingness to travel 10% or less annually.

Responsibilities

• Orchestrate Agile Delivery: Oversee all aspects of agile program management for Appian-led engagements.
• Drive Strategic Growth: Partner with front-line sales to qualify opportunities and execute account expansion.
• Manage Financial Portfolios: Oversee a complex book of business with financial metrics.
• Architect Application Roadmaps: Build business cases and map digital transformation journeys.
• Cultivate Executive Relationships: Maintain deep relationships with client stakeholders.
• Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with architects and product designers on enterprise solutions.
