Job summary

CivilGrid is seeking an Account Executive to own and grow our presence across civil engineering and design firms in the US West. You’ll lead enterprise sales from prospecting to contract, aligning with regional leadership and driving pilots to firm-wide deployments.

You bring 5+ years in enterprise sales, experience selling GIS or construction tech, and a deep understanding of how engineering firms buy technology.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise sales experience with a strong quota attainment track record.
• Experience selling construction-tech, GIS software, or similar is a must.
• Deep understanding of how engineering firms evaluate and buy technology; workflow pain points.
• Excellent communication skills for leaders, engineers, and ops stakeholders.
• Excellent forecasting accuracy quarter over quarter.
• Proven ability to manage multi-threaded deals across project managers and directors.
• Comfort with SFDC, Gong, ZoomInfo, Salesloft, and outreach platforms.
• Based in California to enable regional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex enterprise sales cycles from prospecting through contract execution.
• Secure sponsorship across regional directors and operations leadership.
• Run pilots with clear success criteria tied to KPIs.
• Convert pilots into firm-wide enterprise contracts across offices.
• Develop targeted outbound campaigns for engineering buyers.
• Navigate IT security reviews and vendor onboarding requirements.
• Create sales materials, ROI analyses, and business cases.
• Maintain stakeholder engagement through enterprise sales cycles.
• Represent CivilGrid at industry events and conferences.
