Enterprise Account Executive – Federal Civilian (Cybersecurity SaaS)

Position Overview

In this high-impact sales role, you’ll own a defined federal territory, with a particular focus on civilian agencies. You’ll manage the full sales lifecycle, from pipeline generation to contract close, all while crafting strategic go-to-market initiatives alongside internal and external partners.

What You’ll Own:

  • Drive new customer acquisition and revenue growth within a defined federal territory
  • Develop and execute a territory plan that outlines measurable paths to exceed quota
  • Generate leads, forecast accurately, and maintain pipeline health
  • Expand product footprint within existing customers through upsell and cross-sell strategies
  • Collaborate with technical resources, solution engineers, and product teams to deliver client-specific value
  • Align with partner ecosystems and resellers to maximize reach and accelerate deals
  • Work closely with SDRs to maintain strong territory coverage and identify new opportunities
  • Represent the company at industry events, customer briefings, and federal trade shows
  • Maintain account records and opportunity tracking in Salesforce
  • Own the RFP process from start to finish within your accounts

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Must be based in territory and authorized to work in the region
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales, with a consistent record of exceeding quotas
  • Strong familiarity with the U.S. Federal Government buying process, especially civilian agencies
  • Prior success in selling SaaS, cybersecurity, identity, IT infrastructure, or adjacent technology solutions
  • Proven experience managing complex deal cycles involving multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM
  • Excellent communicator, able to convey complex value propositions to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to travel more than 50% of the time as required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous exposure to Privileged Access Management (PAM) or identity security solutions
  • Familiarity with Federal GTM strategy and account-based marketing
  • Active security clearance (TS or above) or ability to obtain one
