The Role, In a Nutshell

We’re looking for highly motivated sales executives who have strong market knowledge and enjoy building relationships with key decision makers to evangelize building secure and reliable software. Our sales team walks a mile in their customers’ shoes and wants our customers and prospects to see the immense value and expertise Chainguard's solutions offer.

What You'll Do
  1. Define and execute sales plans for your assigned territory
  2. Convey value prop and product differentiators to prospects and customers
  3. Forecast, meet, and exceed quota
  4. Develop and manage leads funnel through a combination of inbound and outbound leads
  5. Manage business and track opportunities through CRM and other supporting tools
  6. Collaborate on and improve all aspects of the sales cycle, including product, support, and sales engineering
  7. Understand the competitive market, being familiar with competing companies and their offerings
What We're Looking For
  1. 5+ years of Enterprise Sales Experience required
  2. Must be located in New Jersey
  3. Domain experience with one or more of the following: Compute platforms (Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), DevOps Tooling, CICD platforms (Github, Gitlab, Jenkins), and overall SDLC
  4. Strong track record of overachieving sales targets
  5. Ability to learn new products and processes quickly
  6. Competitive/Driven attitude
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  8. Team player
  9. Willing to travel to support sales relationships (if required)
  10. Entrepreneurial spirit, willingness to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourcefulness
Desired Qualifications
  1. SaaS or Developer tools sales experience
  2. Startup experience
  3. Strong sales aptitude and understanding of the sales process
  4. Tech-savvy business acumen with the ability to articulate compelling value propositions in complex environments
  5. Ability to thrive in an agile, evolving environment
Compensation

$325,000 OTE (50/50 split)
