Job summary

You will educate patients, conduct comprehensive assessments, and maintain records while coordinating with referral sources to ensure insurance coverage. The role requires delivering supplies to patients, ensuring safe equipment use, and participating in ongoing education to maintain competence.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Calculate commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and email communications.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient follow-up and education as part of patient care.
• Performs complete and professional patient assessments per procedures.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of enteral home care and related concepts.
• Represents the company with professional appearance and written reports.
• Gathers information from referrals to ensure insurance coverage and payment.
• Maintains patient records in organized form compliant with standards.
• Drives to deliver and pick up enteral supplies to patients' homes or places of business.
• Provide continuous patient care and coordinate services to meet needs.
• Promote safe environments and proper feeding equipment use.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain competence.
