Qualifications

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Calculate figures and amounts such as commissions, proportions, percentages, area, and volume.
• Solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and email communications.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient education as part of patient care according to needs and policy.
• Performs complete and professional patient assessments per policies and procedures.
• Maintains current knowledge of enteral home care techniques and concepts.
• Represents the company through professional appearance and patient care activities.
• Gathers information from referral sources to ensure insurance coverage for each patient.
• Gathers necessary paperwork to ensure payment for services rendered.
• Maintains patient records in a complete and organized manner per accreditation standards.
• Goes to patient homes to admit, deliver, and pick up enteral supplies and related equipment.
• Delivers continuous patient care and coordinates services to meet patient needs.
• Promotes a safe environment and proper use of feeding equipment.
• Participates in ongoing education, in-services, and trainings to maintain competence.
