Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience/training acceptable.
• Computer data entry experience necessary.
• Ability to learn insurance guidelines and documentation review procedures.

Responsibilities

• Call patients for reorders and coordinate documentation for insurance guidelines.
• Review and ensure documentation meets insurance requirements and review standards.
• Contact doctors' offices and hospitals to coordinate setup and obtain billable documents.
• Coordinate with intake staff and locations to verify benefits and setups.
• Delete, correct, or re-enter orders as needed.
• Answer phone calls using proper telephone etiquette.
