The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED plus an accredited surgical technologist program, at least 12 months of relevant experience, U.S. citizenship, and strong English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with a recognized surgical technologist program.
• Minimum 12 months of surgical services tech experience within the last 36 months.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Professional proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs as scrub assistant to the surgeon in ENT procedures.
• Occasionally serves as first surgical assistant.
• Performs point-of-use cleaning for contaminated instruments.
• Labels and delivers specimens to pathology.
• Checks OR setup for supplies and instruments.
• Performs routine safety checks and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Prepares and administers routine medications under supervision.
• Assists with recovery room or basic nursing duties and postoperative orders.
• Records vital signs, medications, and routine clinical documentation.
• Performs high level disinfection of laryngoscopes and follows manufacturer instructions.
