About the Position: Positions are with Evans Army Community Hospital, Directorate of Surgery, Department of Surgery Otorhinolaryngology Service, Fort Carson, CO.

This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Basic Requirement: Health Technician (Otolaryngology)

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes demonstrated experience performing or assisting with patient examination of the ears, nose and throat; obtaining patient information, such as, temperature, blood pressure, etc.; AND scheduling patient appointments within an automated system. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
