Job summary

Nemours Children\'s Health is seeking a Surgical Practice Coordinator-Otolaryngology ENT for our Wilmington, DE location. The role focuses on scheduling surgical cases, maximizing OR time, and maintaining accurate EPIC templates and dashboards.

Responsibilities include coordinating outpatient and ambulatory procedures, communicating with families about scheduling and financial responsibilities, and providing admin support to the division and clinicians to enhance patient access and care center

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; higher degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of related healthcare or surgical scheduling experience.
• Experience with EPIC and scheduling workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling of surgical procedures across Nemours locations.
• Maximize OR block time utilization via EPIC OpTime management.
• Develop and maintain EPIC templates for assigned providers and specialty programs.
• Communicate with patient families about scheduling and financial responsibilities.
• Update case information on surgeons' Outlook calendars and maintain depot inventories.
• Provide administrative support to divisonal leaders and clinical providers.
