Qualifications

• Experience coordinating surgical or ENT procedures.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patients and physicians.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and related software applications.
• Certification or training in medical assisting or healthcare administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate surgical schedules, pre-op assessments, clearances and post-op follow-ups.
• Serve as primary point of contact for patients undergoing surgery, ensuring clear communication.
• Collaborate with ENT physicians and staff to prepare patient care and procedures.
• Arrange operating room availability, equipment and resources.
• Maintain accurate records of schedules and patient information in compliance with regulations.
• Assist with insurance verification and pre-authorization for procedures as needed.
• Advocate for patients and support them through the surgical process.
