OU Health in Oklahoma City is seeking a Surgery Scheduler for the Adult ENT Clinic to coordinate all surgical appointments and related activities.

You will work with physicians, nursing and administrative staff, maintain scheduling systems and EMR data, and contribute to quality assurance and department reporting.

This role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of surgery scheduling experience; strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in surgery scheduling required.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in computer scheduling applications and EMR systems.
• Ability to work under stress and coordinate with physicians and staff.

Mansioni

• Coordinate the scheduling of all surgeries to optimize OR use.
• Maintain a paper 7-day surgery schedule as a backup.
• Notify parties when changes occur.
• Print and distribute schedules daily.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure proper documentation.
• Utilize EMR data to compile reports and monitor department efficiency.
• Assist in patient safety reporting and issue resolution.
• Support teamwork across nursing and ancillary departments.
