Responsibilities

• Performs history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provide high-quality, cost-effective care based on evidence-based medicine.
• Adhere to standardized orders and practice guidelines approved by the medical staff.
• Demonstrates competency in assessment, treatment, and patient communication appropriate to age.
• Coordinate patient care and make referrals to physicians, nurses, psychologists, nutritionists, and others as needed.
• Educates patients and families; participates in education and quality initiatives.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows safety policies.
