Job summary

Proliance Surgeons in Issaquah, WA is hiring a PACU RN to perform pre-surgical nursing assessments and educate patients before admission at the Ambulatory Surgery Center. The RN assesses patient needs, orders pre-surgical clearances, and communicates the plan of care to the ASC.

Shifts include 4x10s or 3x12s; 36-40 hours per week, Monday–Saturday with variable start times. PACU, ER or ICU experience is required to join this team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State licensure and CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Two years of OR, Recovery, ICU or ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-surgical nursing assessments and provide patient education prior to admission at the ASC.
• Collaborate with the health care team to ensure optimal patient care throughout the surgical experience.
• Assist with equipment/instrument readiness and proper supply handling.
• Document care accurately and maintain HIPAA/confidentiality standards.
• Participate in continuing education to meet state requirements and safety standards.
• Fulfill charge nurse duties as needed and support departmental committees.
