Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an experienced APN to manage inpatient consults and outpatient ENT care in Hackensack, NJ. You will serve as a clinical leader, mentor aspiring nurses, and apply evidence-based medicine to patient care in a dynamic Otolaryngology service.

You will balance inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, lead rounds, and contribute to clinical research and education initiatives for advancing APN practice locally and nationally.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years APN experience in a clinical setting.
• Background in a surgical specialty or ENT preferred.
• Board certification by AANP or ANCC.
• Active NJ RN and APN licenses.
• BLS (AHA) required; ACLS preferred.
• Active NPI, CDS, and DEA registration with prescriptive authority in New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Lead inpatient consults and outpatient visits for Otolaryngology patients.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and interpret diagnostics.
• Manage medical and surgical conditions with evidence-based care.
• Mentor APNs and students; act as clinical resource.
• Engage in clinical research, peer review, and present findings.
