Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to manage inpatient consults and outpatient ENT clinic care in New Jersey. You will serve as a clinical leader, utilizing evidence-based medicine to assess, plan, and implement care while mentoring the next generation of nursing professionals.

In this role you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, lead daily rounds, prescribe medications, participate in clinical research, and advance the APN practice locally,

Qualifications

• APN with 2–3 years of experience; surgical/critical care or emergency medicine preferred.
• Master's or Doctorate in an accredited NP program (NLN/AACN accredited).
• Active NJ RN and APN licenses.
• Board certification by AANP or ANCC; BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Active NPI, CDS, and DEA registration with prescriptive authority in NJ.
• Excellent communication, collaborative skills, proficiency in MS Office/Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments, order/interpret diagnostics, and manage Otolaryngology conditions.
• Lead inpatient consults and outpatient visits, ensuring smooth transitions of care.
• Prescribe medications safely and apply value-based medicine in daily practice.
• Serve as a clinical resource, mentor APNs and students, and advocate for patients.
• Participate in clinical research, peer review, and contribute to professional development.
