Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join our primary care team in an outpatient setting in New Jersey. You will lead patient-centered, coordinated care, conduct assessments, order tests, and manage conditions with an emphasis on evidence-based practice.

Office hours are Monday through Friday with potential Saturday shifts. NP licensure in NJ, prescriptive authority, and collaboration with medical staff are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN/AACN accredited nursing program.
• Master's or Doctorate in NP program.
• Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education and clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive history and physicals appropriate for patient age and condition.
• Orders, interprets labs and tests with physicians as needed.
• Prescribes medications safely in line with NJ regulations.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
• Promotes patient- and family-centered care and safety.
