MedStar Health is seeking an Assistant Director of Ambulatory Nursing (ENT) to lead site-based nursing teams across ambulatory services. You will collaborate with the Director of Nursing to advance clinical practice, quality, and patient experience while aligning with organizational standards and SPIRIT values.

The role emphasizes supervision, performance management, budget oversight, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to ensure safe, evidence-based care in a complex ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a nationally accredited program is required.
• Master's degree in Nursing or a health-related field is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential; proficiency in MS Office tools is expected.

Responsabilités

• Develops site/office goals, objectives, policies, and procedures in collaboration with the Director of Nursing.
• Maintains relationships across disciplines to ensure efficient, quality patient care and smooth site/office operations.
• Sets performance expectations, conducts evaluations, and initiates personnel actions as needed.
• Completes annual performance reviews and provides ongoing feedback for professional growth.
• Maintains staffing, budgets, and material resources to support patient care delivery and safety.
• Leads safety initiatives, rounds on patients, and participates in quality improvement efforts.
