MedStar Health is seeking an Assistant Director of Ambulatory Nursing to lead site/office-based nursing teams and collaborate with the Director of Nursing. The role emphasizes quality, safety, cost-effective care, and regulatory compliance across ambulatory settings.

The position oversees patient care delivery, staff development, budgeting, and performance improvement, fostering a culture of professional growth and patient-centered outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required.
• 5-6 years of progressive nursing care experience is required.
• 1-2 years of leadership/management experience as a charge nurse or higher is required.
• Recent Pediatric clinic experience is required.

Responsabilités

• Develops site/office goals, objectives, policies, and procedures; ensures compliance with standards.
• Maintains relationships across disciplines to ensure efficient, quality patient care services.
• Performs annual performance reviews and provides feedback for growth and development.
• Ensures staffing, budget, and supplies meet site/office needs.
• Supports quality and patient safety initiatives and high reliability standards.
